Thats all for today, don't forget to check out the fun challenge over at sss blog (link above) and join in!

Haul and Giveaway!!!

Alright, now it's time for more details on my recent haul. I was able to find some great deals at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and SimonSaysStamp and here's what I bought and I'll post links to as much as I can for you if you're interested.
The picture above is items from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I bought 4 new Copics (E31, 0, C1, C3), and made sure to use my coupons :D I also got a new Martha Stewart Scoreboard for less than $10 but I didn't get it to fit in the picture.

These 3 stamp sets from Recollections I found on clearance for $1.49 a piece! I couldn't leave without them. The robots will make adorable boy cards, the ocean creatures I will use for my daughters upcoming "Under The Sea" birthday party, and then the Halloween ones....well thats pretty self explanatory lol.   Then there is a sentiment stamp set from Hero Arts that was in the clearance bin, it's originally I believe $14.99 and technically it wasn't even on sale but because someone at the store messed up and through a bunch of them in the clearance bin I was able to snag this set for $7.49.    The bag of buttons is from Hobbly Lobby, which I used a coupon for so it was only $2.99. and of course the ATG tape was a necessity, I go through that like it's going out of style. I also got the canister of flowers on clearance for $2
These paper packs I found on clearance at Michael's for $1.19, they are MME "moments" and "Miss Caroline-Dolled Up" collections. The recollections All Seasons Paper Pad was only $3.99 and it has 180 sheets of adorable pattern papers. Red sticky tape was on clearance as well for $1, and then I grabbed a couple of different brads for $1.99 each. I got glittered black brads, sea shell brads, and heart pearl brads. And the conversation heart stickers for $1 that i'll be using on my daughters Valentine school treats.
This is my most recent SimonSaysStamp haul, this is where I splurged a bit. Chevron backround stamp from Hero Arts, as well as banner die from SimonSaysStamp.
I have been dying to get my hands on this Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain stamp and I finally just couldn't keep it out of my cart. A few more stamps from C.C.Designs, the Coffee Kiki, Nora, and Bunny Lucy. Flirty Anya from The Greeting Farm, and this adorable little Elephant stamp from Stampavie
I also got 2 packs of pattern paper, Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection and Basic Grey's True Love collection with matching cardstock sticker sheet.
I also got my first Magnolia stamp Tilda with dotbow. And as always whenever I order from SimonSaysStamp they always throw in a special little Thank you treat, this time it was some gorgeous blue rhinestones.
Okay I know what you're thinking, enough already where's the giveaway?! So here it is...
These 4 adorable Valentine stamps! One lucky winner will receive all 4 of these little cuties.

New camera arrived!

Yay! So excited to have my new digi camera. I got an HP d3500 and so far I'm loving it, although I haven't figured everything out yet. So I thought I would hop on here and share some of my pics I took today just playing with the different settings and also gives me a chance to show you guys what I've been working on lately.

I absolutely love how this card turned out. I used my new Coffee Kiki La Rue stamp from C.C. Designs. I just adore their stamps. The paper I used was My Minds Eye "moments" collection which I was able to find on clearance at Michael's for $1.19! Such beautiful patterns, the only problem I find with these pattern papers is that, because they are so pretty, I have trouble parting with them lol.

Here's a look at one of my newest Valentine cards. Came out super cute, if I do say so myself ;)
And thats all I'll share for now. I'll be back on later for more in depth post about my haul that I promised as well as the giveaway so stay tuned!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to hop on here and give a little sneak peak of my Michaels/SSS haul from this week. I'll do another more detailed post once my new camera arrives, as well as start the giveaway. And yes, the products for the giveaway are somewhere in this pile ;)

Tons of great finds! Like the 2 packs of 6X6" paper pads by My Minds Eye that I scored at Michaels for $1.19 a piece!  And the 3 recollections stamp sets I found on clearance for $1.49!  If you're looking for some great deals now is the time to check out your local craft stores. January update!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone has recovered well from after the holidays and is avoiding the flu that has been going around like crazy! Just wanted to share a little update on things to come. I've recently made a decent size haul purchase through SimonSaysStamp.com (love that online store!) and when it arrives I'll go ahead and do another blog post to show everyone what I got.  Also soon to come will be my Valentine card series, Mothers Day Cards, Summer cards, and possibly a few other random series as well. I also recently acquired my first set of Copic markers, three tones for skin coloring. I got E00, E11, and R20 for blushing cheeks :D I've been practicing my coloring and paper piecing and I'd like to think I'm getting better. I'll let you guys be the deciding factor in that once I get to posting some new cards here shortly with my new supplies. That should get here in a few days so I will see you guys next week for that post! As always thanks for joining me and I'll see you back here again real soon ;)
