Happy Hump Day!

Good morning! I wanted to hop on here and get this up before we leave for the day.
The hubs and I are taking the girls to Legoland for our oldests birthday!
They have no idea and have never been so it's pretty exciting.
I created this little card using my new lawn fawn stamps and dies
I bought in my recent SSS haul.
This set is the "Love You Smore" stamps & dies.
For some reason they wouldn't link up below so I'll link them above.

Isn't that little s'more adorable?
I kept is very simple, stamped the images on scrap neenah cardstock, colored and cut them out using their coordinating dies. Then adhering them straight onto the cardstock with a little Tombow Mono Multi and added some Wink of Stella to the flames.

I decided to leave the inside of this card blank to leave plenty of room to personalize it.
The sentiment came from the same stamp set.
I just pieced it together how I wanted it and stamped it using Versafine ink.

Just look at that smiling s'more! He's just to cute for words.
He looks so perfectly toasty too, now I want a s'more.
Oh wait! I have s'more granola bars in the pantry, I know what this momma is having on the ride up to Legoland!
Hope you all enjoyed and have s'more fun today.

Make A Card Monday!

Hello everyone and happy Monday!
This last week completely escaped me as I worked on getting things together for my oldest daughters birthday party this coming Saturday.
She wants a Maleficent party which I'm having a blast creating things for.
While I was shopping at Michael's for spooky inspiration I just couldn't stay out of the stamp isle and I happened to stumble upon these stamp sets from Art Impressions.

That's right! Art Impressions is now in Michael's stores!
How awesome is that? I can see my collection growing by the second!
I picked up the beach babes set (pictured in the middle) I wanted to grab that set with the airplane but it was already sold out, so I'll be searching for that every trip.
So taking a little break from the Maleficent projects I created this little card.

The girlfriend stamps kill me! I just adore them.
I kept it very clean and simple. Stamped it onto SSS white cardstock
and colored directly on the card base.
SSS cardstock is the best I've found so far that wont the copics wont bleed through to the inside of the card.

I tried to not be very fussy about my coloring and stick to two colors and not blend as much like the art impression sets look.
I also added glossy accents to the sunglasses as well as the drink glasses.

These little ladies will be perfect to enter into this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge being that this weeks theme is "You Gotta Have Friends"

Using Kraft ink from MFT's new Hybrid ink collection I stamped the girlfriends again on the inside and used versafine to stamp the sentiment.
That's all for the card today.
Head on over to the SSS Wednesday challenge to participate you have until Wed  8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.

Sunday funday!

Hello everyone I hope you all are enjoying Father's Day.
The girls and I made daddy breakfast this morning,
but we've been stuck inside due to Florida rain.
There's a new company I decided to try out for stamps and I have to say that I am rather impressed with the quality of these stamps.
The packaging is adorable, unlike any I've used before.
Here is the card I made using the Docrafts Gorjuss Urban stamps.

The little foxy girl and her fox friends are just too stinkin' cute!
I used my go to Neenah solar white card stock to stamp and color on with my Copic markers and fussy cut her and her foxes out.
Popped them up on dimensions atop coordinating cardstock from MME.
All links to supplies used will be below aside from the Docrafts stamp set
which you can find here.

Taking a closer look at the girls face you can see that I added some brown freckles using a brown Copic multiliner in .03
I think that really added character to her face.

The Lawn Fawn sequins worked perfectly on this card as well,
they've been in my stash for so long that I have been trying to find ways to use them up.
I have to say I will definitely be purchasing more Docrafts stamps for my collection!

For the inside of the card I used the embellishment stamp that came with the set and a sentiment from the Tiddly Inks Hello pet stamp set.
And thats the card for today. I hope you all enjoyed seeing this new stamp set used on my card and I'll catch you back here tomorrow for Make a Card Monday!

TGIF!

Woohoo it's Friday! This week kind of flew by for me it seems.
There are two challenges this week that I've kind of blended together.
The first is Paper Smooches June Picture Perfect challenge.
Here is the inspiration picture...
And the second challenge I combined that picture with is from MFT Sketch challenge 180

Both challenges caught my attention so I went to work creating something that would blend the two together and this is what I came up with.

Super adorable unicorn from Paper Smooches! I just love how this turned out.
I created the notebook paper look using Neenah cardstock and a notebook border die.
For the sentiment cloud I stamped the cloud from the set, cut it out and used the backside of the paper to stamp the sentiment on.

I used Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the rainbow mane and tail, although it's hard to pick up on camera just how shimmery it is.
The kraft color cardstock really helps this pop right off the page. I originally planned to use a white card base but I felt it was just too much white on white for me.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment and rainbow from the same set using MFT hybrid inks in Black Licorice and Kraft.
And thats the card for today, I hope you like it and I hope you will play along in these fun challenges too!
