Sunday funday!

Hello everyone I hope you all are enjoying Father's Day.
The girls and I made daddy breakfast this morning,
but we've been stuck inside due to Florida rain.
There's a new company I decided to try out for stamps and I have to say that I am rather impressed with the quality of these stamps.
The packaging is adorable, unlike any I've used before.
Here is the card I made using the Docrafts Gorjuss Urban stamps.

The little foxy girl and her fox friends are just too stinkin' cute!
I used my go to Neenah solar white card stock to stamp and color on with my Copic markers and fussy cut her and her foxes out.
Popped them up on dimensions atop coordinating cardstock from MME.
All links to supplies used will be below aside from the Docrafts stamp set
which you can find here.

Taking a closer look at the girls face you can see that I added some brown freckles using a brown Copic multiliner in .03
I think that really added character to her face.

The Lawn Fawn sequins worked perfectly on this card as well,
they've been in my stash for so long that I have been trying to find ways to use them up.
I have to say I will definitely be purchasing more Docrafts stamps for my collection!

For the inside of the card I used the embellishment stamp that came with the set and a sentiment from the Tiddly Inks Hello pet stamp set.
And thats the card for today. I hope you all enjoyed seeing this new stamp set used on my card and I'll catch you back here tomorrow for Make a Card Monday!

Simon Says Stamp Challenge-Use an arrow

Hey there! Simon Says Stamp has a super fun challenge going on over on their challenge blog (www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com). This weeks challenge is to use an arrow in your project. The card I made for this challenge I'm actually going to send to my little sister, the Greeting Farm Riley stamp reminds me of her.

Supplies:
Cardstock from the March 2013 card kit
Sentiment is also from the March 2013 kit
Cardstock stickers from the March 2013 kit
Blue satin ribbon (dollar bin at Michael's)
Scissors
Copics

I'm in LOVE with the white woodgrain cardstock from Simon Says Stamp! It's absolutely fabulous and I must have more lol. If you haven't signed up for the card kit of the month through them yet, you definitely should. I had been wanting to sign up for months and I finally did last week and I'm just thrilled with the amount of product they send you with the kits. It's great, I feel like I get a little present in the mail every month lol. The card kit is only $19.95 a month, you can cancel it at any time, and the kit always comes with a fabulous stamp set and tons of coordinating cardstocks and embellishments.  If you're interested and want to know more about the card kit of the month just click here and it will take you to their Q&A page about the card kit subscription. As always, thank you for following along with me today and I hope you'll come back next time.

Haul and Giveaway!!!

Alright, now it's time for more details on my recent haul. I was able to find some great deals at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and SimonSaysStamp and here's what I bought and I'll post links to as much as I can for you if you're interested.
The picture above is items from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I bought 4 new Copics (E31, 0, C1, C3), and made sure to use my coupons :D I also got a new Martha Stewart Scoreboard for less than $10 but I didn't get it to fit in the picture.

These 3 stamp sets from Recollections I found on clearance for $1.49 a piece! I couldn't leave without them. The robots will make adorable boy cards, the ocean creatures I will use for my daughters upcoming "Under The Sea" birthday party, and then the Halloween ones....well thats pretty self explanatory lol.   Then there is a sentiment stamp set from Hero Arts that was in the clearance bin, it's originally I believe $14.99 and technically it wasn't even on sale but because someone at the store messed up and through a bunch of them in the clearance bin I was able to snag this set for $7.49.    The bag of buttons is from Hobbly Lobby, which I used a coupon for so it was only $2.99. and of course the ATG tape was a necessity, I go through that like it's going out of style. I also got the canister of flowers on clearance for $2
These paper packs I found on clearance at Michael's for $1.19, they are MME "moments" and "Miss Caroline-Dolled Up" collections. The recollections All Seasons Paper Pad was only $3.99 and it has 180 sheets of adorable pattern papers. Red sticky tape was on clearance as well for $1, and then I grabbed a couple of different brads for $1.99 each. I got glittered black brads, sea shell brads, and heart pearl brads. And the conversation heart stickers for $1 that i'll be using on my daughters Valentine school treats.
This is my most recent SimonSaysStamp haul, this is where I splurged a bit. Chevron backround stamp from Hero Arts, as well as banner die from SimonSaysStamp.
I have been dying to get my hands on this Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain stamp and I finally just couldn't keep it out of my cart. A few more stamps from C.C.Designs, the Coffee Kiki, Nora, and Bunny Lucy. Flirty Anya from The Greeting Farm, and this adorable little Elephant stamp from Stampavie
I also got 2 packs of pattern paper, Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection and Basic Grey's True Love collection with matching cardstock sticker sheet.
I also got my first Magnolia stamp Tilda with dotbow. And as always whenever I order from SimonSaysStamp they always throw in a special little Thank you treat, this time it was some gorgeous blue rhinestones.
Okay I know what you're thinking, enough already where's the giveaway?! So here it is...
These 4 adorable Valentine stamps! One lucky winner will receive all 4 of these little cuties.
